It's not uncommon for me to get choked up when I'm doing my work. I very easily cry as it is. Sometimes it's a given, I know with some projects I'm going to be in tears. Sometimes it's out of joy, sometimes sadness, the mixture of emotions is amazing, writers share their stories and they really are very strong.

My current project is a great example; In the story there is a painting, a real painting called, Forest Fire by Raden Saleh. It's a really powerful painting and I was in tears as I drew away 'copying' it.

I love my job, it's alway different, I learn so much from it and I work with amazing people.

This is the black and white drawing from the book where the painting is depicted, fingers crossed the author approves it because I can't wait to colour it!
