Well sometimes you just don't get to produce the work you want to put into your portfolio!

Recently I was commissioned by an Estonian company, to design a book cover for a young girls book on puberty.

No brief, just the title info and size and a 24 hour deadline.

I produced a cover design-

Then I received the changes, make it more girly, make the girl more girly- give her longer hair, put her in a skirt and put her in pink (I fought the denim!)

Remove the blue background- make it more girly, make it pink!

I had tampons, bras and a moon cup on it and that just wasn't girly enough 😂

So this is my book cover- 🤢
